The King portable Brinell hardness tester has been an ideal portable instrument in the market for many years due to its lightweight, easy operation, and single person operation. This hardness tester has been used in the US market for over 60 years. It can be used to test metal specimens of any size and shape, and is easy to use. The operator places the sample between the anvil and the probe, rotates the crank to lower the probe to the surface of the sample, locks the tester, closes the safety valve, and pulls the hydraulic rod to achieve the desired load. The tester applies a load of up to 3000kg to a 10mm ball head, creating a permanent indentation that can be measured repeatedly at any time. An automatic regulating valve on the instrument can automatically prevent accidental overloading when calibrating the load.

·King is easy to operate. Place the workpiece between the anvil and the indenter, rotate the crank to move the indenter downwards towards the testing surface, then lock the position, close the pressure release valve, and pull down the force lever until the pointer points to the required test force
·When using a test force of 3000KG and a 10mm steel ball indenter, the resulting indentation is permanent and can be remeasured at any time. When the load reaches the specified test force, the pressure relief valve automatically starts, avoiding the possibility of overload. The length of the diagonal of the indentation can be measured by reading the measurement microscope or automatic scanning microscope

·The stainless steel test head consists of a sealed hydraulic pump and an oil storage cylinder. The factory calibration value for testing force is 3000KG, and the test heads are interchangeable. In addition to standard test heads, long nose test heads can also be selected according to special requirements
·The sliding body of the crank gear can move up and down freely to select the desired testing height, up to a maximum of 14 inches (optional 20 inches)
·The standard 10mm Brinell indenter steel ball can be replaced with 2.5mm or 5mm steel balls
·The crank handwheel is made of peach wood, with a good hand feel and durability
